The Little Things

Yesterday I had a little car issue. I got in my car to drive to work, and when I pressed the clutch - it went to the floor! So my first thought was "Oh great, my clutch is gone!" Well, I had enough to get to work (I know...a little risky, but I had a back up plan! My brother-in-law didnt have to be at work for a hour in a half...he could always come get me!) We meet for prayer on Thursday mornings at work - we prayed for my car. Sarah asked that "the repair bill would be inexpensive", During my lunch break I called around and got quotes that were all in the $800 range. I was disappointed, but relied on the fact that God always has a plan. I made another call and spoke with a nice little man who said that their quote guy was on lunch, but he could get my information and have him call me later. After explaining my story, he says "Oh, you know, I think your car is the year they started using hydraulic clutches - it sounds like you are just low on break fluid. I would just confirm that you have a hydraulic clutch and then you just need to have someone check that for you, but make sure they put it in the right reservoir!" SO, I thought to my self - 'I can do that!' SO, I called Honda, as well as our family mechanic to confirm. All signs pointed to yes. The only problem was making sure I put it in the right spot. A lady from work said after I told them the story "My husband can do that for you when he gets here - he's a mechanic, he'll know exactly what to do" And sure enough, she was right.

Total repair bill: $3.89
God answers prayers. :)
